The IO tube endforming machine is a hydraulic machine for the precise sizing of tube ends or for the forming of profiles.
The tube forming is achieved by way of two hydraulic rams. Each ram drives a set of 8 way segmented fingers against a tapered mandrel. The outside of the tube is formed against reducing fingers whilst the inside is formed against expanding fingers.
The machine operates the I and O operations alternately until the tube is formed to the desired size. The order of the operations is selectable via the front control panel.
The machine features manual adjustment of the forming ram stroke via a stop nut on the back of the forming ram. There is a separate stop nut for both the I and O ram.
A plug in foot pedal at the front of the machine controls the auto cycle. The machine I-O sequence is configurable via hmi
The machine uses the industry standard Eagle tooling.
